Accomodations... part duex...

"Dear Mr Brown,

you can get the key for the apartment at 11:00 a.m. (in the mornig) tomorrow (01.July). Pickup Mr Griegoleit, because he has to look for some things in the cellar. Than he has to phone with me.

Your new adress:
Apartment 10137
Rothehaus Straße 39
50823 Köln (Ehrenfeld)

Excuse me, the car-park is available on Wednesday - perhaps."

I spent my first night in the new place last night. It was a little bit of all right. I finally have a bed that I am not too big for, it even has a decent pillow! All in all the apartment isn't that bad. The TV leaves something to be desired. Also, the fact that it only came with 1 towel helps to explain a lot about the smell here. It came with a microwave, but no stove so I won't be doing much cooking here. Without further ado my apartment:
Yes, that woman is topless in the bottom left of the view from my balcony...
The only condition for me accepting the apartment was that a parking spot be arranged in the garage 1 street over. I got the number etc. and forwarded it along to the correct people at the company. So nobody did anything. My boss asked me if we should proceed on the apartment and I said no. I need a parking spot. The next day he had Frank go with me back to the apartment to review the parking situation. This place is worse than Ann Arbor. So Frank did someone elses job and called the parkhaus to got the information for a spot. Fast forward a week.. Yesterday I got the above email, went picked up my apartment keys etc. When I asked what the status of the parking spot was the lady who was looking into it (who is the second person assisting with this since the 1st is on holiday for 3 weeks) said that it would be available today. I sent her an email asking how to get access today and she's now on holiday. Her message stated if I had any issues to call another lady. So I just got off the phone with her (#3). The conversation starts with, "Ahh, Mr. Brown. How are you? Is everything going well with the apartment and parking spot?" According to her last Friday it was stated that the spot would not be available until 2 weeks from now.
I ask, "where should I park then."
She said, "a different place in the parkhaus."
"How do I get in since it is a closed gate parkhaus that needs a garage door opener type device?"
She laughed at me and stated, "I don't know, I am only purchasing."
So I told her to give me the contact information and I would take care of it myself...

She called me back and now everything is ok... what a shocker!! I have to pick up the key before 4pm with a €40 deposit...

You need a hot plate! Then invite the topless chick over for dinner. That bed looks big enough to take care of business. Maybe somebody can send you one of those microwave cookery cookbooks. And a hot plate!
