Got some outdoor climbing in over the weekend. It was on a fake wall, but nice to get some outdoor climbing in nonetheless. It was in Neuss, near Duesseldorf. They have a large indoor ski hill, which was interesting to see people skiing in August, but the hill was seriously lame. On the backside of the building was a climbing wall. It was pretty sweet since they had a 30m high portion. It was quite the endurance route climbing that. It's about double the height I'm used to climbing, but I made it up twice no problem. We climbed for like 3 hours and then had dinner at a hole in the wall Italian restaurant near my apartment. It was pretty good food, except that they didn't have most of the menu remaining at the end of the night when we got there. So it was spaghetti with pesto sauce for both of us. Mine came out about 15 minutes before Kai's, but whatever.
Things are getting pretty ridiculous at work here. I'm not sure if I'll be able to get Friday off, although I've told everyone I have the day off so we'll see if that works. Regardless I'm going and whatever happens will be it. I got a call from the home office, but was in a meeting and couldn't talk. Hopefully it'll be a request to have me come home :-). This place is a mess... back to work...

Are you finally watching Office Space for ways to get out of work? On Friday you should swing by, say hi, and then sneak out. Then they'll think you're still there cuz it's not like they're swinging by to invite you to lunch.
