Lovely...
If you didn't realize that the title of this post was sarcastic, or thought that it was going to be about something good happening, I suggest going back to the 1st post and reading back through my time here. I did a load of laundry last night. After the 2 hour wash and 1 hour dry I pulled my favorite crimson work shirt out of the dryer and proceeded to put it on a hanger. I noticed a white mark near the buttons. 'Scheisse,' I thought. But it was OK since it was near the buttons and would be covered up, no problem. I pull the next article out of the dryer and there's more white marks on the shirt. Then my favorite blue shirt... more white marks similar to bleach stains. I go back to the first shirt and see that the back of the entire right sleeve is messed up. Knowing I have a full load of clothing that is ruined I say to myself, 'lovely.' With all the crap that's gone wrong here I think I'm finally numbed to it since I didn't get upset this time. Now the tally for stained/torn clothing in the past 3 months here is up to 7 shirts, 1 pair of pants (which I bought the weekend before coming), 1 pair of shorts, and 3 pair of socks. The good news is I have enough clothes to make it until my trip home next week where I can buy a new wardrobe with my unused lunch money instead of spending it on something useful like another trip or something fun.

After getting destroyed like they did in basketball yesterday, maybe the German washing machines are taking out the frustration of a nation on American clothes. "Can't stop LeBron James from dunking on Dirk Nowitski, so we'll just magically dunk some bleach in Scott Brown's clothes". Score one for the Germans!
