Sick...

I woke up this morning with a fever and a sore throat. So I did the usual karate kid bandanna soaked in ice water to make it through the night. When I got up this morning I realized it was Sunday. Did you know that in Germany no pharmacies are open on Sunday? Even better, the only place to buy aspirin etc. is at a pharmacy. There's no CVS or over the counter drugs available at any of the other stores. Not to mention that there are no other stores open, besides Dönner shops and fast food joints. So instead of taking some aspirin and going to Burg Eltz (look it up) and doing some hiking, like I had planned, I've been relinquished to the couch with a wash cloth on my head getting up to open or close the window depending if I'm having hot flashes or the chills, my other option being a trip to the emergency room for some aspirin... No wonder why everyone here always has an angry look on their face. This place is stupid... seriously...
